Bentley Mulsanne Key Celebrates Its Centenary

311135906_1281855972636056_2987376612771239945_nlow.jpgBentley's bespoke coachbuilding division, Mulliner, has designed an exclusive key case to mark the centennial of the company. It is made of Dark Stained Burr Walnut and Piano Black veneer, it includes a flying "B" paperweight, a set keys and a brochure featuring never-before-seen 1930 8 Litre imagery.

This is the perfect way to welcome a new car owner.

Aesthetics

Bentley is a firm who takes its aesthetics seriously. It's evident in the exact placement of its quilting, the selection of leather from cattle by-products, the wood from sustainably managed forests and the innovative patterns on its levers. When you drive by a car like the Continental GT W12, its beautiful sculptural design is highlighted by carefully curated lighting.

The Continental GT is the most sophisticated open-top bentley key 2022 ever created. The rear tonneau of the Continental GT, for example, featured the largest piece ever made of dark-stained Burr Walnut veneer that was book-matched. Similarly, the electrically-operated glass sunroof and champagne cooler that incorporated hand-blown and hand-cut lead crystal bottles marked a new benchmark in luxury and innovation.

It is this unique design, craftsmanship and attention to detail that have established bentley key replacement as the world's most desirable automotive brand. The company continues to push the limits with the latest technology and workmanship, such as the introduction of a digital instrument cluster with an electric tilt-opening back glass sunroof, an artisan-made docking station for Apple iPads and electrochromic "smart" glass that can be changed from transparent to opaque by pressing a button.

A century after its creation, Bentley - now under sole Volkswagen ownership after years of fighting with BMW and BMW - celebrated its centennial in 2019. The marque planned a series of special events and launches to mark the milestone event before planning for a pandemic became a top priority.

Design

Bentley is a premium car manufacturer who produces extravagant and luxurious vehicles. However, even the keys are an oath. The Bentayga key is made of sterling silver and has an oversized 'B' logo that tells everyone you're driving a Bentley. The key is also engraved with the dates 1919 and 2019, to commemorate the company's centennial.

Bentley Mulliner has redesigned and created the Mulsanne to be the ultimate Grand Touring vehicle. It features two opposing pairs of rear seats designed to be reminiscent of luxury private aviation and provides passengers with unbeatable comfort and privacy. The custom heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system was created to give each passenger the perfect climate control setting.

Alongside a range of stylishly executed styling changes and a host of elegantly executed styling changes, the Mulsanne is powered by twin-turbocharged 6.75-litre W12 engine capable of producing 560bhp and 479lb ft of torque. This powerhouse is enhanced by a new suspension architecture that delivers Bentley's trademark hushed ride.

In celebration of its Centenary, Bentley introduced a unique specification called the Centenary Specification for cars built in 2019. This includes cross-stitching and contrast stitching in Centenary Gold thread throughout the cabin. The Bentley Wings are embroidered with Centenary Gold on the headrests as well as the seats and other parts of the car. This makes it more fun to celebrate. A custom Bentley key case is included in the Centenary Specification, making the Bentley experience all-inclusive.

Function

The Bentley Mulsanne key comes with buttons that open the trunk and a second button that starts the car. It also has a switch that can turn on the parking break. The knob can be used to fold or unfold the mirrors if you are parking in a tight spot. This feature helps you get in and out of your car.

Each key takes about two days to make. The key is cut by hand, shaped, stitched after which it is sealed and polished to give a superior result. It is robust and compact, and will fit the Bentley key perfectly. Its design is similar to the Volkswagen Phaeton's big car key, but feels more heavy and luxurious.

Secure-A-Key is also included to help prevent keyless entry theft. This device is inserted inside the remote control key fob and is turned off after a few minutes of inactivity, which prevents thieves from transmitting the key's frequency to other devices that could unlock and start the vehicle.

Bentley's unique design reflects the firm's values of high-quality craftsmanship and engineering expertise as well as modern technology. Its headquarters in Crewe are home to more than 4000 employees who are responsible for the development, design and production of Bentley vehicles. They apply their skills that have been handed through generations to current automotive technologies. This is a hallmark of British manufacturing at its finest.

Personalisation

Bentley's bespoke division, Mulliner, allows customers to create their own car. The "mood station" allows guests to select images that inspire them. These could range from beautiful landscapes to sporting events. Each time a selection is made, a pattern appears that reveals the model and color preferences of the custom Bentley.

The resulting configuration is loaded onto individual R.F.I.D.-enabled keys which are presented to guests in a custom key case. Keys are also equipped with bentley smart key Muliner Personalised Welcome Lamps that illuminate the door's opening pathway with the owner's name and/or emblem when they are approaching the vehicle.

Bentley estimates that it takes around 500 man-hours in order to create and put together the typical Mulsanne. The refusal to embrace new technology is the key to this time-consuming task. Instead of making use of a machine to space the perfectly matched leather seats workers at the Crewe factory do it by hand. Drivers must park their cars manually, rather than relying on sensors built into the vehicle to direct them to perpendicular and paralell spots.

In the course of the event, Bentley showcased its Mulliner personalization capabilities using a special example that was the Mulsanne W.O. The Mulsanne W.O. Edition pays tribute to the founding father of the brand, William Osler Bentley. The limited edition cars come with the key, which displays the 1930 8 Litre crankshaft.
