Upgrade materials can be gathered by a player as they provide clear content. They can then be used to upgrade or replace an item. Each item requires a particular kind of upgrade material. Weapons require Destruction Stones, while armor requires Guardian or Harmony Leapstones. When an item is upgraded, these materials are changed to a different name. For instance, Stone Fragments becomes Stones and Harmony Shards becomes Life Shards.

Upgrades to items are essential to improve the performance of a character, but it is important to think about the cost prior to making any changes. Every time an item gets upgraded, it costs an amount of gold which could be better spent on an entirely new piece of equipment. This is why it's best to upgrade the most important items in a particular situation.

This usually involves upgrading the weapon first followed by the chest and legs and finally the helm. If the player is able to afford it then upgrading trinkets should be considered in this stage to increase their potential for procs. For instance, a top-of-the-line Throne of Thunder trinket may be worth upgrading to get greater damage it can cause from its procs. Rerolling is similar to the level up system. Reroll tokens can be used to remove any Level Up option and replace it with a different one. Players can also use a special mechanic, Eliminate, to remove any Level Up option they have on their equipment or weapons. This is useful in the event that you have a poor gacha result or want to roll a five-star unit. You will need to create your own account or sign up via social media.

Set bonuses

While Set Bonuses cannot stack within the same set, they can stack between sets. This is great for those who wish to utilize the most efficient combination of sets.
